RICKA is sending a team to the 2026 Paddle For Progress Paddle for Progress RICKA will again be participating in the annual Paddle for Progress event in Wickford Harbor on Sept 20, 2026 to raise money for Breast Cancer Research.  The event organizers are looking for volunteers to help get the paddlers (200+) launched and to provide some assistance during the paddle around Wickford Harbor.   There are several ways you could participate:  Join the RICKA team on the paddle (donation suggested but not required) and paddle with fellow RICKA paddlers,  You can just paddle with the crowd  or volunteer to help during the paddle. Volunteer at the event to help organize things on shore If you're unable to paddle that day, you can still make a donation in the RICKA team's name. 100% of money donated goes directly to support breast cancer research and care in RI..   It's a great way to have fun paddling while supporting a great cause.  More information and sign-ups are available at the link above.   Questions contact Frank Cortesa frankcortesa@charter.net
