FREE Paddlecraft Safety and Skills Class - Sign Up Today! Whether you’re new to kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding, or have experience, this is a great opportunity to learn and develop the skills needed to be safe in the water! These indoor workshops cover safety, skills, managing common emergencies, places to paddle, maintenance and repair of your paddlecraft and basics of cold weather and cold-water paddling.    CHOOSE one: Thursday February 20  6:00 PM to 8:00 PM RI Parks Headquarters 1100 Tower Hill Road, N. Kingstown, RI   Sunday March 2 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM Lincoln Woods State Park Nature Center 2 Manchester Print Works Road, Lincoln RI These classes are FREE and open to the public! All participants will receive complementary safety gear from the RI Department of Environmental Management (DEM), including lights, whistles, dry bags and more.
